PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0 Upgrade

 

--Requisition Comments--

Technical Proficiency in the following PeopleTools 8.48 / 8.49 related areas

 

Required:PeopleSoft Integration Technologies: Integration Broker configuration; Services and Service Operations; PeopleSoft Messaging (including PeopleCode and Message monitoring); Component Interfaces; Business Interlinks (old technology); Application Engine. Web Service technologies: WSDL, SOAP, XML Experience integrating PeopleSoft with 3rd party applications as well as with internal PeopleSoft applications.

 

Desired:Experience converting older Tools 8.x Integration Technologies to Tools 8.48 / 8.49. Experience upgrading from PeopleTools 8.1x to PeopleTools 8.48 or 8.49. Experience upgrading from HRMS 8.3 to HRMS 9.0, including familiarity with the two-step database upgrade process. App Server / Web Server Administration PIA Setup and configuration Change Assistant and Environment Management Framework PeopleCode PeopleTools (equivalent proficiency of PeopleTools I and PeopleTools II courses) PeopleSoft Security Administration PeopleSoft Directory Interface product LDAP Security and Single Sign-on PeopleSoft Performance Monitor and Performance Tuning PeopleSoft Debugging PeopleSoft Cobol SQR SQL PeopleSoft HRMS Application Knowledge Desired Basic familiarity with the following PeopleSoft HRMS functionality: DB2 z/OS Human Resources module North American Payroll module Directory Interface module

 

Work SkillsFunctionality differences between HRMS 8.3 and HRMS 8.9 / 9.0 (including Person data model changes in 8.9 / 9.0) Ability to explain Peoplesoft functional and technical capabilities clearly Ability to facilitate effective teamwork and proactively accomplish upgrade tasks Primary Responsibilities Effective meeting behaviors and organization skills Provide expert guidance in upgrading the existing integration between our custom Employee Self Service application and PeopleSoft HRMS, using PeopleTools 8.49 technologies. Provide technical expertise and assistance in upgrading from HRMS 8.3 / Tools 8.1x to HRMS 9.0 / Tools 8.9. Mentor IT staff regarding PeopleTools 8.48 / 8.49 technologies (knowledge transfer.) Assist with translating business needs into the appropriate PeopleSoft technologies. Be a key resource to resolve system and environment issues during the upgrade.

 

Secondary ResponsibilitiesAssist with fit-gap analysis between client’s business needs and PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0 functionality, including Person data model changes.
