Pharmacy Services Specialist I Lewiston, ID 2 openings *Shifts vary between the hours of 6:45am - 6:00pm PSTPlease Note: Initial training period in classroom will be approximately 3 weeks, during this time hours are 8:15 - 5:00. After the first 3 weeks, a shift will be assigned based on the needs of the team. Later on, this new hire will be rolled into the shift bid process, where shifts are bid on every quarter. The order of the bid process is based on performance from the previous quarter.Bring your understanding of medication programs and benefits to the following role:Provide support for administration of The Regence Group, RegenceRx, Regence BlueShield of Idaho, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah, Regence BlueShield and Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon's prescription medication programsOffer information, education and assistance to pharmacies, members and a variety of other callers on recorded phone lines regarding benefits, claims and eligibilityProvide excellent customer service to customers which is critical to the overall success of the corporationCombine your customer service experience with the following skill sets:High school degree or GEDMinimum of 1 year customer service experience is required; call center experience is preferredRetail pharmacy technician experience, or other experience in the medical field is preferredAbility to type 30 wpm with 95% accuracy; 10-key abilitiesKnowledge of Pharmacy operations including computer billing systems is preferredComputer proficiency with Windows based software and databaseExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a face paced work environmentAbility to interact professionally with customers using excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, including courteous telephone etiquetteCapability to interpret policies and procedures and communicate them effectively Ability to work under stress and pressure and respond to inquiries with tact, diplomacy and patienceAbility to perform and grasp mathematical concepts and calculationsExcellent judgment and problem solving skillsAbility to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines and departmental standardsVersatility while performing tasks in a fast paced, pressured environmentAbility to perform detail-oriented work, both technically and administrativelyDemonstrated initiative in researching and resolving benefit, eligibility and claims issuesAbility to exercise judgment, initiative, and discretion in confidential and sensitive mattersCapability to work in a team environment and overtime as neededHard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16585.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
