Problem/Disaster Recovery Coordinator I, II, III DOE Lewiston, ID; Salt Lake City, UT; Seattle, WA; Tacoma, WA; Burlington, WA; Portland, OR; Medford, OR or Salem, ORBring your problem resolution and analytical skills to the following role within our Information Technology department:Oversee the day-to-day management of both of the following areas: problem and disaster recovery coordinationEnsure that standard process and policies are followed in coordinating problem management and disaster recovery activitiesReceive regular updates in each of these processes and ensure that communications with all customers are timely and include accurate information about the status of any problem or disaster recovery activityFacilitate meetings to coordinate identification of problems and root cause analysis, significant business impacting technology outages and disaster recovery activitiesDocument all meetings and activities that are associated with identifying problems, conducting root cause analysis and delivering significant outage and disaster recovery resolutionsParticipate in a team environment and provide leadership, in close cooperation with business continuity planning, to coordinate the development, maintenance and testing of the IT disaster recovery plans for Regence, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and coordination with business partners, to ensure that information services and data centers are able to function to support the business should a disaster occurManage operational reports and trend analysis of significant outages and disaster recovery activitiesParticipate on projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of infrastructure servicesAdhere to IT departmental policies and procedures Combine your degree and problem resolution experience with the following skills:BA/ BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in problem resolution and trending analysis, disaster recovery or a combinationDemonstrated ability to lead effective meetings, track tasks and issues, coordinate documentation and track changesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with end users, team members, co-workers, vendors and managementHighly organized and can prioritize work with supervisionAbility to be on-call 24/7Hard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16149.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
