Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. Primary responsibilities include: Performing complex process development using Allstate and industry best practices. Assisting in development of process hierarchy, process inventory, and information gathering for moderately complex processes. Analyzing and recommending improvements for processes and identifying root causes. Facilitating process design workshops and process redesign activities. Developing process related training or communications and change management activities in support of the reengineering or transformation activities. Facilitating future state operating model design workshops. Coordinating resources to assist in implementation of process or quality initiatives and coaching the team to support ongoing business processes evaluation. Understanding and demonstrating the ability to articulate the concepts and value proposition of business process management. Developing methods, tools and templates to be used for process assessment, redesign and/or reengineering. Researching and recommending Allstate and industry process best practices, and developing deep expertise in process modeling, analysis/design tools.The successful candidate should exhibit the following skills and abilities: Business Knowledge — Demonstrates the ability to apply multiple areas if business knowledge to successfully meet broad work objectives. Change Management — Fundamental proficiency to demonstrate change management processes in practical and moderately difficult situations. Facilitation — Fundamental proficiency to facilitate meetings where subject is moderately complex. 1+ year project management experience on small to medium projects Demonstrated ability to communicate, and work effectively in a team setting Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently Experience developing presentation material using MS PowerPoint Experience in designing and deploying processes or improving existing processes 1+ years experience in estimating software development efforts is a plus Experience in gathering and evaluating software development measurements such as effort, size and defects is a plus
