Product Analyst, Product Specialist, Senior Product Specialist

The Midland Company and its property & casualty subsidiary, American Modern Insurance Group, are looking for Product Analysts to join our growing team.

The Product Analyst is responsible for the support and development of our product initiatives which include: loss analysis, forms and rate development, and competitor analysis. This position will also develop marketing materials and complete timely filing packets.

Qualified candidates must effectively perform job functions with limited help or supervision from others. Candidates should also be able to work independently on multiple projects and competently provide status updates.

 

We are looking for an excellent communicator with expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint. Cognos, MapInfo, and Oracle Browser software experience is also desired.

 

Product and Pricing experience is preferred, along with 3-5 years of Property and Casualty Insurance experience, although not required. Candidates are required to have a general knowledge of a corporate culture, business philosophies, and financial objectives.

 

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Math, or Statistics is required, MBA is preferred. P&C insurance related studies are also preferred i.e. (CPCU, INS, etc.)
