Job ID: 17061 Posting Title: Product Development Consultant with Underwriting Background Working Location: Omaha, NE Employment Status: Full-Time Job Summary: Responsible for product development and project leadership for multiple lines of business. Product development includes building the product offering including the development of coverage forms, filings, establishing underwriting guidelines,compliance and building training materials and giving the training sessions. Team projects include working with the New Programs Team as well as various business units and home office technical center. Coaching and mentoring individuals for future growth as well as supporting management on various tasks. Active participant in due diligence on new opportunites in one or more lines of business. Job Qualifications: Job Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or equivalent7-15 years underwriting experience with a line of business, prefer strength in non-auto line of business and multiple lines a plus.1. Familiarity with program underwriting is strongly desired.2. Must have field and home office experience.3. CPCU certification preferred.4. Project management and leadership skills necessary.5.
