JOB DESCRIPTION: JOB SUMMARY: .Provide state and countrywide level scoring expertise to business groups and distribution channels in Personal Insurance. Function as insurance scoring expert and consultant in a highly complex matrixed environment. Director of operations for Insurance Score Resource Center PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide analytical, subject matter expertise and issues resolution, as it relates to insurance scoring to achieve targeted Personal Insurance business results. Provide scoring expertise to set direction for operations of the Insurance Score Resource Center, customer service center, to provide quality customer service regarding scoring issues within expected timeframes. Set direction for enhanced customer response from the ISRC and for expanded capabilities to deal with direct response- Review selected correspondence- Set management policy- Audit operations- Direct resource for all business areas - Provide score training across the organization.- Define staffing needs, call timings, call content- Manage, train and review staff operations- Conduct periodic process audits & make recommendations for improvements- Define business location and function needs- Provide direction with regard to call response content- Create template standard responses- Work with vendors to ensure up-to-date knowledge for staff of scoring issues across the industry- Monitor consumer score related trends & modify process appropriately- Monitor industry and regulator trends & modify process appropriately- Resolve any consumer or regulator issues personally if required Insurance score subject matter expert within the organization to manage compliance and communication regarding:- Statutes- Industry information - State regulation- Identification of credit gaps- Documentation of score usage by state, channel and product. - Manage all NCOIL compliance issues- Establish business partner team with legal, regulatory and product to manage ongoing issues- Establish business process to manage compliance issues with business partner team- Ensure documentation of new and revised scoring changes, scoring regulation Responsible for all scoring communication, training and documentation with internal and external parties as relates to score. Act as advocate and main contact for all internal and external parties. Function as industry liaison regarding scoring issues. Lead scoring compliance related efforts. Ensure documentation of new and revised scoring changes, scoring regulation. Act as team leader and key member for operational projects related to insurance score. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:4-year College degree or equivalent work experience Working knowledge of the use of credit data for insurance- 3-5 years minimumStrong understanding of Personal Insurance, and personal lines products.
