Program Officer Portland, OR or Seattle, WABring your community relations background to the following role: Manage all components of grant-making for both the Regence Foundation and overall corporate community investmentAssist in increasing Regence's visibility throughout its markets, help to enhance the positive image of the company in the communities it serves and strengthen Regence's corporate reputation through developing and maintaining relationships with community leaders, corporate charitable giving partners and nonprofit organizations Combine your degree and grant-making expertise with the following: Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5-8 years experience in community relations, including professional experience in corporate giving, fundraising and/or grant-making Broad knowledge of community relations/charitable contributions principles and practices Experience in the health care industry is preferred Exemplary written and oral communication skills Ability to evaluate and make recommendations on grants and partnerships appropriate for either Regence's corporate community investment purposes or the Regence Foundation Knowledge and application of best practices in grant-making Understanding of grants management software Proven ability to write strategically and creatively Analytical ability and strategic, tactical thinking Proven event planning and project management skills and experience Ability to prioritize and process multiple complex projects and deadlines with attention to detail and organization.
