Location: Allentown, PAYour location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend We are currently searching for a Project Manager for our client in the Allentown, PA area.  This position is a long term contract position. You would be responsible for building and maintaining project plans for technical projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle utilizing a project management tool.  This position is also responsible for continuous, proactive, and methodical management of scope, schedule, budget, resources, resolution of issues and mitigation of risks.  This position will work closely with individuals at all levels of the organization, reporting to Director of Project Management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Demonstrate leadership in all aspects in project management, including quality assurance and client satisfaction.- Track and communicate project status, plans, risks, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets.- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to determine and communicate project statuses.- Responsible for the creation of SOWs, estimates, and planning of projects- Facilitate kick off meetings, requirements walkthroughs, design walkthroughs, and status meetings with team and carrier as necessary.-  Responsible for completion of various artifacts required by SDLC process-  Time tracking of project team members -  Maintenance of project documentation within Project Insight, and other software tools-  Oversees defect management and reporting-  Manage client expectations on project along with CRM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Essential skills include:-   Demonstrated ability to design, develop, deploy, and maintain project schedules and budgets.- Seasoned understanding of Project Management practices and methodologies.- Ability to work within an enterprise project management tool.- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Beneficial skills include:- Familiar with Project Insight tool.- Knowledge of testing, testing methodologies and disciplines. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:- Requires a bachelor degree in related field or six years professional work experience.- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of technical project management experience or similar work experience.  About Hudson IT & Telecommunications Hudson IT&T serves as a trusted resource for clients seeking high-quality technology professionals and IT solutions.
