COMMERCIAL PROPERTY CLAIMS ADJUSTER, EXPERIENCED:


About the Job:

This position will report to our Property Claims Manager.  This is an “inside” job at our home office in Woodland Hills, California, and requires very little traveling. Knowledge of insurance coverage, claims procedures, and experience in the investigation and evaluation of commercial property claims is required.  The successful candidate must be able to read and interpret a variety of commercial lines policy forms.  The successful candidate will also be expected to resolve claims by conducting thorough investigations of coverage and damages.  The job requires a thorough knowledge of, and commitment to, regulatory compliance.  At all times, you will be expected to maintain the company’s reputation and insurance product integrity by complying with federal and state regulations.


Qualifications and Required Skills:

Successful candidates will be able to:Verify 2 – 5 years of property claims adjusting experience;Investigate, research, interview, analyze, interpret and process information and facts relevant to loss events while retaining objectivity and diplomacy;Demonstrate proficiency in working with computer-based programs in a paperless claims environment;Approach every task in a meticulous and thorough manner, documenting actions and communications, prioritizing, maintaining schedules; pay attention to detail and strive for accuracy at all times; identify and meet all deadlines; Work productively with others in a team environment and keep managers updated on case status, new developments, and pending deadlines; Maintain corporate and personal privacy and security of sensitive information at all times; Remain courteous and respectful towards everyone and provide a high level of Customer Service at all times;Accept responsibility for and ownership of all work produced; explore opportunities to add value to the job position by constantly striving to improve themselves and our operations.
