Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993.Encompass Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity in the West Sacramento, Vacaville or Fairfield, CA area.  In this vital role, you will be working from home and will be responsible for evaluating and estimating Homeowner property damage in your territory, which will require travel to sites where the damage is located. Overnight travel can be expected. Laptop computer technology is used to complete estimates.  You will be documenting claim activity on a laptop and following processes that provide fair settlements or claim resolutions, customer satisfaction, and excellent cost management. Use of your personal automobile that is capable of carrying a folding ladder, will be required to travel to and from your onsite inspections.Use of your personal auto for business mileage will be reimbursed at IRS prevailing rates.  Incumbent must be able to maneuver and climb a folding ladder.Our ideal candidate has a 4-year college degree.  Candidates should possess the ability to manage relationships in a fast paced environment, while demonstrating persistence and problem solving skills.  The ability to work under pressure and strong customer service skills will allow you to succeed in this role.  This candidate may be required to work some evenings or weekends.The ideal candidate will have three years of Field Property Claims handling experience.  Construction experience is a plus.  Computer proficiency required with Word, Excel, Outlook and MSB.
