As a Property Field General Adjuster for USAA, you will serve as a senior field member contact representative for USAA. You will investigate, evaluate, resolve and supervise several/complex property claims, in accordance with terms and conditions of policy contracts and existing insurance laws and regulations. You will be considered the highest level of technical expertise in property damage claims. You will support Catastrophe Operations as needed. Qualified candidates need to possess: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5 years' insurance experience to include 2 years estimating complex structural losses or equivalent. Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment. Ability to meet all USAA safety driving requirements as driving record will be verified through MVR. Acquisition and maintenance of adjuster's license as appropriate. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. Ability to traverse ladders and roofs. Preferred experience includes: College degree and/or job related course work. Successful completion of insurance related self-development course(s). Prior field adjusting experience. Strong problem solving skills. Knowledge of all USAA property contracts, claims computer systems and current adjusting practices. Xactimate 24/25 estimating software and 5+ years' Large Loss Adjusting. Construction background. Adjuster license in CT, RI, NH and VT. Position will service all 12 Northeastern states.
