Provider Relations Representative

Devon Health Services, Inc. is a National Healthcare Cost Management Company that provides innovative healthcare products designed to identify and combat the factors responsible for increasing healthcare costs.

Provider Relations Representative is an entry-level position in the Provider Relations Department.  Under the direction of the Provider Relations Manager, the Provider Relations Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with the network’s physicians, groups, hospitals and ancillary providers.  The Provider Relations Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for network providers in answering questions about the network and is accountable for appropriate triage and resolution of provider data issues, while helping support the administrative needs of the department. 

In this position you will:

· Deliver outstanding service by responding to inquiries quickly, effectively and courteously. 

· Be proactive when investigating solutions to provider or data issues.

· Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational issues.

· Oversee the handling of physician demographic data to ensure accurate and timely updates.

· Plan, organize and conduct in-office education and orientation for new and existing providers.

· Participate in department projects, such as provider satisfaction surveys, database development and credentialing projects.

· Offer assistance to physician and office staff regarding obligations, reimbursement methodologies and claim submission procedures.

· Network maintenance, including high priority recruiting efforts.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, communication, marketing, or other related field from an accredited four-year college or university

· Strong ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

· Excellent oral and written communication

· Excellent presentation skills

· Ability to work in a multi-task environment

· Strong organization skills and ability to problem-solve

· Good computer and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Windows applications
