Psychiatric Clinical Specialist

Major Duties and Functions Include: Will analyze, review and clinically manage behavioral health related disabilities. Manage an assigned caseload of complex cases including the application of specialized training/knowledge to the assessment of cases Provide technical insight and advice Review, record, and analyze medical records, therapy notes, and treatment plans data to make claims settlement determination Compare duration control guidelines and clarify functional inconsistencies Provide recommendations to team regarding employee's current or potential functional abilities Use clinical background to help clarify whether self-reported symptoms equate to impairment preventing return to work Develop goal-focused return-to-work plans and address barriers for return to work What You Need to Succeed: Demonstrated excellent communication skills Minimum of intermediate skill level with MS Word and Excel Excellent writing skills State of Illinois License required: LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or Licensed Psychologist Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
