Major Duties and Functions Include: Leading, directing and managing the Dental organization’s efforts pertaining to implementing and maintaining an ISO9001 Quality Management System, overseeing and managing the Dental Quality Improvement Team as well oversight and management of the Dental Training area. Partner with the Dental Operations Team to coordinate Quality initiatives and projects. Direct responsibility for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System, Quality Improvement Team, Policy & Procedures, and Training area within Dental Operations. Create and ensure quality of statistical reporting, trending and consulting provided to the Leadership Team and business around quality metrics and results. Coach and mentor staff on process improvement methodologies and tools. Identify strategic process improvement opportunities in support of operational excellence for Dental Product Management initiatives. Recommend operational efficiencies for the business to increase customer satisfaction and reduce unit costs. Assist in developing and implementing sound and operationally oriented measurement systems, guidance and support for tactical and operational projects. Serve as a Champion for Change. What You Need to Succeed: -2+ in Leadership role with ability to coach and mentor staff 2+ years quality management experience, including participation on cross-functional project teams in a matrix organization; Certified in quality auditing (ISO 9001, CMM, etc) preferred or willing to obtain within 9-12 months of hire. Experience facilitating and managing PDCA or similar methodology process improvement projects. Strong technical knowledge of data collection, analysis and reporting techniques; customer satisfaction, quality concepts, process management. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, directly or indirectly through project teams. Accepts responsibility for getting things done and results (both successes and failures). Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully and develop strong relationships at all levels within the management team. Strategic thinking and change management skills. Knowledge of the business processes and systems infrastructure that support Dental Products. BA/BS in Business, Project Management, Industrial Engineering or organizational Development preferred.
