Rate Implementation – This includes the development of rate files and detail premium calculation documentation for Systems implementation.  Develop and maintain computer systems for generating rate files for new and existing disability products. Testing premium rate calculations of new business issue and the sales illustration systems. Product Rate Filing – Coordinate product rate filings and correspondence with State Insurance Departments to assure approval of rates. Field Compensation – This includes supporting the research, development and monitoring of field compensation programs and compensation for new and revised products.  REQUIREMENTS College degree in mathematics, statistics, or equivalent work experience. Strong mathematical aptitude essential. 2-5+ years of experience as an analyst trainee or equivalent analytical and/or programming experience with another company, preferred. This position is typically not an Actuary, nor pursuing an actuarial designation.  However, a former actuarial student with 1-4 SOA Exams would be a plus. Strong computer and analytical skills, including Excel are essential.
