RTW Assistant

Southern California Risk Management Associates (SCRMA) part of the York Insurance Services Group, provides nation wide claims administration services for both insured and self-insured, public and private employers.

SUMMARY:

 

This position is an entry level position responsible for supporting the execution and continued quality of the Return To Work Program(s). Job duties center on data entry and assisting the RTW Coordinator. Also responsible for generation of letters, running basic reports and assisting in gathering data and information associated with program execution.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Work in close coordination with the RTW Coordinator for completion of all support duties and documentation for RTW Services (which may include multiple parties such as medical provider, employer, injured worker), claims documentation via letters and notices, etc.

 

· Complete data entry for medical activity (providers/physician) on-time and with a high level of accuracy.

 

· Communicate data base changes to VP of Managed Care and RTW Coordinator and monitor for accurate completion.

 

· Develop an appropriate level of understanding of all Managed Care products to include MPN, RTW, Medical Case Management, Utilization Review and internal systems (Claims Connect, Renaissance System, Work Link Application, Word Based Programs, Excel, etc.).

 

· Interface with claims examiner, program employees, utilization review, and other internal departments as needed with the goal of successful interaction and coordination of all offered services.

 

· Other duties as assigned.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma and 1-2 years professional experience.

 

EXPERIENCE:

· 1 – 2 years data entry experience.

 

SPECIAL SKILLS:

· Strong data entry skills with ability to think through processes and documentation

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Must be able to take direction

· Strong Organizational Skills

· Effective and accurate verbal and written skills
