Job ID: 17441 Posting Title: Rate Technition Working Location: Schaumburg, IL Employment Status: Full-Time Job Summary: Generally works on assigned lines of business and has developed an in-depth understanding of at least two or more lines of business. Assists underwriters by computing rates and premiums for policies, compiling appropriate declarations, coverage forms, national/local forms, and optional endorsements to complete a policy.Provides technical rating and policy issuance support to underwriting team utilizing manual and automated systems in the rating, coding, and policy issuance of all transactions for multiple lines of business. Interacts with agents, vendors, and Zurich staff to obtain and provide necessary information in order to resolve issues and provide timely, accurate service to attract and retain profitable business. Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent3 or more years of related experience.1.Three years' experience as an underwriting technical assistant.2. Excellent customer service orientation, and good communication skills.3. Ability to produce a quality product to detail and accuracy.4. Proven organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.5. Must be familiar with policy forms.
