Brokerage Professionals (bpi), a division of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc., located in Media, Pennsylvania (Courthouse Area) is a 26-year-old Property-Casualty insurance brokerage and consulting firm. Our firm provides risk management services and property-casualty/employee benefits insurance products through an organization of uniquely qualified professionals. We pride ourselves on our family atmosphere and attribute low turnover to our excellent working environment. We service and maintain a prestigious client base of mid to large accounts and continue to experience rapid growth.
We have an opening for a Receptionist/Office Assistant.
Responsibilities will include:
· Answer multi-line telephone system with strong sense of clarity and professionalism
· Greet and assist visitors and notify appropriate personnel of guest arrivals
· Provide general office assistance and secretarial support to various departments
· Monitor, purchase and stock inventory of office and kitchen supplies
· Act as liaison with outside vendors for various office related operations, i.e., facility management, overnight delivery vendors, telephone equipment, postal service, etc.
· Perform all mailroom related activities with regards to distribution of incoming and outgoing office mail
· Assist with special projects as needed or directed by management
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
· Superior telephone and interpersonal skills while maintaining a positive demeanor
· High level of professionalism, discretion and tact while dealing with a broad range of clients and vendors
· High energy personality with ability to be flexible, take initiative, use good judgment in a fast-paced environment
· Strong customer service skills, organization and multi-tasking abilities are essential
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and online research
