Regional Human Resources Manager
Summary: Serve as advisor & strategic partner to all operations and functions. Also serve advocate to workforce on all employee relations issues. Implement and administer Human Resources policies, procedures and processes in both functions.
Essential Duties:
Act as internal consultant to local and regional management on all Human Resources matters and general (operational & organizational) business issues. Proactively deliver strategic thought leadership to management on key people issues and people trends within the organization. Accomplish this by ensuring high touch and constant communication with line managers and associates.
Counsel and assist management in compensation/reward issues to include salary administration, promotional paths, incentive programs and budgetary and monitoring processes.
Assist and counsel management and employees in employee relations activities to include discipline and terminations, and investigations as needed.
Oversee and monitor Human Resource activities to insure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience: Minimum of 8 years experience as HR Generalist.Advanced knowledge of benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, training and employment.Extensive knowledge of employment legislation.Superior communication skills (oral and written).Excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Capable of effectively influencing management and associates in HR and business matters.Strong technical IT capabilities; PeopleSoft HR knowledge a plus.Able to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively.
