Developing key relationships that will optimize product placement, distribution and revenue in assigned channels of distribution.  Support annual corporate sales goals, including reporting monthly revenue forecasts, and the active management of a pipeline.·Initiate, develop and maintain prospect/client relationships and agent/broker/consultant relationships through direct prospecting activities. ·Manage the full sales cycle including: researching and identifying opportunities, securing appointments, conducting presentations and developing proposals.·Advise company on current sales trends and competitor knowledge.·Serves as a positive role model by representing the Company Values.· Qualifications and Skills: Four year degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing.  ·Minimum of five years successful selling experience, in the Employee Benefits and Medical Insurance industry. B2B to Companies with 2,000 plus employees.Must have sold supplemental insurance products ·Certifications, Licenses, Associations, etc. – Prefer  Property and Casualty, Life Insurance or other relevant licenses, or willing to  obtain within 6 months of employment Able and willing to travel at least 50% West Coast Territory   Proven track record of strong sales techniques and selling insurance / employee benefits both direct and through agents/ brokers/consultants, Strong understanding of financial and insurance concepts. Strong computer skills needed including knowledge in MS Office and a contact management system. Willingness to maintain high activity model, including active prospecting of new brokers, agents, consultants, and potential clients.Excellent presentation skills, ability to speak in front of large groups of people in addition to board room presentation ability.  Strong attention to detail.
