Regional Underwriting Manager - Commercial Package

For the past 6 years, we have grown over 20% every year.  Last year, we had a 95% renewal rate with our customers and a 75% combined ratio!

Our North Central Regional office is seeking a leader for our Regional Underwriting Manager opening in Naperville, IL. 

The Underwriting Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Underwriters & Assistant Underwriters, provide guidance and technical expertise. You will be resonsible for underwriting specific accounts, overseeing new & renewal business for the region, deterining underwriting authority, auditing files & assist in the development of new products.

This position will be responsible for marketing and meeting with potential & existing agents to generate new business. 

In order to be successful, the candidate will be able to lead a team, have previous management experience, have good technical skills and have experience with commercial package underwriting, preferably with another carrier.  A Bachelor's Degree and/or equivilant experience will be considered.  CPCU strongly desired.
