Regulatory/Compliance Specialist

Brown & Brown of California, Inc – Professional Groups Division, part of the 6th largest insurance agency in the United States, is seeking a Regulatory/Compliance Specialist. This position will be responsible for identifying and ensuring that all surplus lines requirements by state are met accurately and timely. Oversee and assist licensing and compliance activities for the agency. Create surplus lines allocations for multi -states filing on group sponsored E&O, as well as P&C lines business. In addition, will resolve regulatory issues and work with licensing personnel and administrative staff. Complete necessary paperwork for appropriate state affidavits. Reconcile monthly open payables for surplus lines taxes/fees and process annual surplus lines tax returns.

We are looking for a driven, self-starter with relevant experience and/or education, (E&O knowledge is a plus), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
