By starting with a core of seasoned, experienced industry veterans and building a team of talented, committed and passionate professionals the company has enjoyed great success while increasing the quality and effectiveness of its services.What would you be doing?As our client’s Release Manager, you would work with a team to build and release all of the company’s software products, while continuously looking for ways to improve overall efficiency and quality. Your responsibilities would include: Analyzing work processes and procedures to determine creative ways to streamline and automate processes Creating solutions by integrating current tools and creating new ones Prioritizing tasks and shifting priorities as situations dictate Participating in the software development process to ensure customer needs are met Coordinating with IT and IS departments in relation to development of virtual machines and software Interfacing with QA department as well as developers, program managers and documentation specialists on a daily basisIs this the job for you?We’re looking for an experienced Release Manager with an outgoing, friendly attitude and excellent communication skills to join our team. Here are a few qualifications we’re seeking in the ideal candidate: Demonstrated experience with software development using Visual Studio Strong software configuration management experience Previous experience in System or Network Administration is appreciated Familiarity with Unified Process and Continuous Integration is very helpful Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or CIS - Bachelor’s degree preferred Working knowledge of CruiseControl, Subversion and NAnt software tools Strong proficiency in IIS, Apache, InstallShield, MSI, Serena RM, Serena TeamTrack or VMWare LabManager is a plus MCSD or MCSE certification extremely helpfulWhat’s so great about this job, anyway?Step into this role and you’re joining a company committed to working hard and playing hard.
