Resource Development Specialist

MEDEX Global Group, a recognized leader in providing critical travel, medical and security assistance and international travel insurance is looking for two Resource Development Specialists in our International Emergency Response Center (Towson, MD).

 

Primary Purpose:Update, format, maintain and improve the provider database. Research provider information requests from corporate, government, insurance clients and internal requests.  Support the Emergency Response Center in any case-related provider issues, such as specific medical referrals. Credential Providers.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

1.  Manage data in the Provider Database: Reformat entries merged into Clientele - Add new and update existing data to ensure consistency and reliability of the provider database.   

 

2.  Support internal and external customers with specific reports. 

 

3.   Research, recruit, and credential providers (Hospitals, MPAs, Air Ambulances primarily) according to established policies. Act as a liaison to address and correct any discrepancies or issues.

 

4.  Prepare accurate and professional reports timely as requested, including monthly report for statistics (Monthly MPA payment, Provider Activity and Achievements reports). 

 

5.  Represent the Resource Development department during client visits or in special projects as requested. 

 

6.  Credential facilities by doing site surveys abroad when needed

 

7.  Demonstrate specialized knowledge about  a specific region (e.g. Asia - Europe/Africa/Middle East – Americas) 

 Qualifications/Knowledge/Skill/Licensure

 

· Knowledge or Education in the international field (International relations, geography, geopolitics…)

· Foreign language skills preferred (Spanish preferred)

· Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred

· Experience in the Emergency Response Center Department preferred
