Risk Manager

Join the home office of PF Chang's China Bistro as our next Risk Manager! The Risk Manager will support the Senior Risk Manager and will be responsible for strategic analysis of the Company’s insurance programs, as well as, assisting in the identification, evaluation and mitigation of the Company’s risk exposures.  This includes the corporate office and all of the Company’s current and future concepts. Roles and Responsiblities may include: Ownership of strategic operational claims trend reporting – both the preparation and the communication of strategic relevance to field operations.   Preparation of monthly loss analyses and forecasts and allocation of expenses.   Identify exposures and recommend practical solutions. Analysis of loss information to proactively identify trends and mitigate future losses.   Promote loss prevention by implementing basic risk identification, risk/loss mitigation and claims administration strategies for the Company. Development of management and unit reporting tools to elicit support for safety and claims management at all levels.   Primary ownership of the ongoing development and maintenance of the Company’s Crisis Management and Business Continuity program.   Monitor compliance with insurance procedures, including safety and workers’ compensation/general liability and property claims guidelines.   Manage insurance documentation requirements, and handle day to day issues and inquires relating to risk management and insurance coverage. 5 years of risk management experience with a large publicly traded company Bachelors Degree in related area Strong understanding of Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, Property and other risk programs Strong understanding of financial aspects of risk management, including: loss triangle and actuarial analyses budgets, forecasting and allocation of risk program expenses demonstration of ROI in support of strategic initiatives actionable operational trend reporting High degree of self direction and initiative
