We combine history with insurances scores, motor vehicle reports, prior coverage confirmations, driver and vehicle registration confirmations at the house hold level to offer complete picture.

 

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

 

Support the development of business intelligence products and tools by performing analytical services (primarily SQL) which leverage CPS and other data through analysis of data for new product concepts and support of existing analytical products

 

-  New product concepts - analyze data to identify trends, patterns, value and correlations that could be used in the design of new product concepts

-  Product launch - review data to ensure validity of product interpretation, aggregation, correlation and view of data for market acceptance ; evaluate data content and data quality to develop data transformation business rules

-  Customers -analyze data to support proactive and reactive responses to customers around data reconciliation, balancing and formula results

-  Other duties as assigned 

 

 Knowledge and Skills 

 

-  Bachelor's Degree (prefer MS/MBA/PHD)

-  P&C Insurance Industry (prefer 5+ years experience and/or experience in Insurance product development/pricing)

-  5+ years SQL, Project Mgmt, BI Tools, 3-5 year business/data analysis (prefer experience with Strategy Companion and InsurQuote tools)

-  Good verbal/written communication (prefer SAS, experience manipulating large data sets especially with MS SQL server and MS Analysis Services

-  Strong communication skills - Ability to effectively communicate complex topics with project team members, project managers, senior management and customers.

-  Problem solving - Ability to develop and present creative solutions to serious project issues such as resource conflicts, cost overruns and schedule recovery
