Major Duties and Functions Include: Job Summary: Participates in the development of IT applications to support MetLife Investments Real Estate department business needs. Functional Responsibilities: Is responsible for detailed technical design and development of a reporting application utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 reporting tools. Will participate in requirements gathering with the customer and converting specifications about business problems into programming instructions. Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary. Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of a Real Estate reporting application. Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system What You Need to Succeed: Microsoft ProClarity a plus Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Analysis Services Microsoft .NET programming skills (VB, C#, ASP) Good Oral & Written Communication skills Mortgage or Real Estate experience would be a plus Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
