Position Type:Contract for HireLocation:  Kansas City, MODuration:  6 month CFHRequired: •Minimum five years training and experience as a DBA in a medium to large environment. •Knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server 7.0, 2000, 2005, SSRS 2000, SSRS 2005, SSIS 2005, DTS, T-SQL, SSAS 2000 and SSAS 2005. •Strong project management, time management, initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills required. •Minimum two years of experience in Data Modeling, Capacity Planning, Decision Support, and Data Warehousing •Overtime, off-shift support, and some travel required.Job Description:  Lead and provide technical support in a high availability 24x7 environment  MS SQL Server and related support application installation and configuration. Database design, monitoring, tuning and security. Database review and implementation for all client program designs Equipment and hardware selection of systems related to database operation at all client offices Review and approval of all programming implementations that include database deployment for all client offices Responsible for managing the quality of the data within the database, creating database stored procedures, database triggers, SQL statements, and creating database extraction routines to import or export data from the data repository Perform, or manage, complex hardware troubleshooting and reporting for client database systems Perform complex software troubleshooting, installation, and configuration support as third-level support for database products. Work with system administrators and application developers in designing and implementing standardized database access. Act as mentor and advisor on data related business decisions and technologies.
