Read on to learn about the requirements for this opening. Job Purpose: The incumbents in these positions are the primary analyst in Data Resources for a particular system, process, or service. They are the lead SME or product manager for the system and/or data type they support. Each individual is primarily responsible for all baseline and discretionary system projects that impact their datatype and are the main coordinator for any business rule or system changes. Major Duties: Lead on Discretionary and Baseline system changes - includes writing requirements, performing testing, coordinating with other testers, all associated meetings Business Lead on Investment Projects - includes writing requirements, performing testing, coordinating with other testers, all associated meetings Oversee team process and procedure manuals ensuring all are kept current Maintain business partnerships with project leads in other divisions and develop process improvements joint strategies Required Education, Experience & Skills: Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience 3 years in an analytical role – preferably in a service-oriented enterprise 3 years in a data operations or data management environment Understanding of insurance data elements Experienced systems tester Experience documenting requirements for baseline and discretionary system changes Experience filling a lead business role on systems change projects Strong knowledge of project methodology and experience preparing project plans Experienced with data analysis or data quality analysis techniques Knowledge of SAS, SQL, MS Office Suite, TSO, and MS Project An general understanding of NCCI customers and customer processes A general understanding of NCCI data types, data standards, and how data is used in NCCI products Expert knowledge of customers and customer processes for data types and processes supported Expert knowledge of business functions and flows of systems used in functional area - including comprehension of complex issues, changes, and resolutions Understanding of testing strategies, types of systems testing, and test plans As key contributors to our success, our team members enjoy working in a casual, collaborative environment that offers state-of-the-art resources, advanced technologies, and a superior benefits package.
