SR. EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST (HR REP III)/TECHNICAL RECRUITER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with minimal direction in a team environment, consults with hiring
management staff to recruit staff level through senior management (non-executive) positions; source, recruit, screen, interview and close applicants for our IT Division and others as assigned. Identifies or clarifies hiring and promotional specifications and competencies, documents and confirms principle requirements and develops recruitment strategy to maximize candidate sourcing. Ensures compliance with employment laws and follows Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines relative to recruitment efforts; educates and provides consultative support to management as appropriate, ensures employment offers are equitable and in compliance with program and regulatory requirements. Tracks and monitors recruitment costs and prepares reports as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Utilize well-developed skills in advanced internet recruiting techniques, networking skills, and ability to search for passive candidates to fill candidate pipeline and provide qualified interested candidates for hiring manager review; strong analytical skills needed to screen and evaluate applications, and to achieve a high offer to close ratio. Will follow CSAA´s employment policies.
2. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills needed to conduct effective interviews, with demonstrated ability to successfully work and interact with all levels of employees/hiring managers across divisions, departments, and functions, in a professional and tactful manner. Must have command of the English language; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and must be able to express oneself effectively verbally, in writing, in person, in formal presentations and over the telephone, and via email/internet channels.
3. 5 or more years experience in IT recruitment at all levels, including demonstrated senior-level skills in sourcing, recruiting and behavioral interviewing.
4. Possess and utilize solid PC skills, and be competent with applicant tracking systems.
5. Knowledge of and compliant with federal, state and local employment laws. Maintains awareness of changes in legislation.
