Description:In this entry-level position, you will learn how to identify and cultivate clients, initiate and follow up on new business opportunities, obtain underwriting approval, and close sales to commercial accounts. You will participate in an extensive training program and act as an apprentice to two to three successful Account Executives. During this period, your primary responsibility will be to assist them in renewing accounts by developing customer relationships, assessing and responding to customer needs and coordinating the risk management process. After successfully completing the training program (approximately 4-6 months), you will become an Account Representative with new business and renewal responsibilities and be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.Qualifications:Highly effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, tact and negotiation skills. A general working knowledge of the Company's services, products and marketing techniques, insurance contracts, funding and rating preferred but not required. Bachelor's degree preferred or knowledge normally attained through equivalent experience.
