Number of Positions:  1 JOB SUMMARY: 

This individual will work within the Advisor Resources (AR) Team being a sales/support contact for all advisor relationships within the fee-only business by providing proactive sales and product support to new and existing advisors and clients.  Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, cultivating, closing, and managing relationships with advisors to build a long-term profitable partnership.  This role will support the existing block of advisor business to ensure asset retention and continued product sales growth. 

 
DUTIES:

 

1. Place proactive outbound sales calls to new advisors to promote the Advisor Resources products/solutions.

2. Develop and maintain relationships with advisors; traveling as necessary to advisors’ offices. It is expected of the individual to have the ability and commitment to work a professional schedule as required.

3. Assist and support the existing block of advisor business to ensure asset retention and continued product sales growth. 

4. Place proactive calls offering fund updates, marketing ideas, product changes and enhancements. 

5. Serve as a sales/support contact for all inbound sales/support calls. 

6. Place thank you calls following the submission of new applications.

7. Prepare sales and comparative analysis illustrations & manage open issues with downloads for all advisor product lines.

8. Proactively develop, manage, and modify sales approach that will generate sales to meet the departments short and long term objectives. 

9. The role will include utilizing the internet, professional and industry memberships and other resources to monitor industry-related topics, competitors and trends useful for the effective management of the external relationship.  The individual will be readily available to assist with the external partner’s questions/research relating to product performance, marketing/prospecting opportunities and other ad hoc requests for information and overall analysis.  Assist in recommendations for external partners with their needs in mind.  Additionally, the individual will support partner education and implementation of new product lines. 

10. Provide any support as needed for Advisor Resources and projects as assigned. 

11. Ability to enhance professional growth and development through participation in continuing education courses, professional organizations, seminars and workshops, reading current literature and maintaining professional contacts in the community.

1. Working knowledge of the financial industry and variable annuities.

2. Strong communication and negotiation skills, both oral and written, at a professional level.

3. Experience with client interaction (i.e. relationship management).

4. Strong organizational skills.

 Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.NASD Series 6, 63 or willingness to obtain within 1 year after hire date.Life Insurance License or willingness to obtain within 6 months after hire date.Some overnight travel may be required.

This position is bonus eligible.
