Sales Executive Salt Lake City, UTBring your sales expertise to the following role:Represent Regence by selling all lines of business including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability etc.Create strategic territory development and agent relationshipsAcquire new various size group(s) business for assigned territorySell direct or through a broker/agent Combine your degree and insurance background with the following:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related fieldMay substitute an equivalent combination of relevant education and experienceMinimum of 4 years sales experience with two years preferable in employee benefitsCurrently licensed, or must become licensed within 90 days of hire, to sell insurance (health, life, and /or disability) in the state or states where business is conductedPrior to receiving a license staff are not allowed to engage in soliciting or selling activitiesValid state driver's license with a good driving record and proof of auto insuranceComputer proficiency in desktop application software including email, word processing, spreadsheets and creating presentationsExcellent verbal/written presentation skillsAbility to organize and prioritize to meet established deadlinesCapability to plan and execute an effective sales approachStrong relationship skillsAbility to engage in community/networking opportunities outside of normal business hoursAbility to demonstrate a consistent focus on achieving or surpassing results/goalsCapability to display an enthusiastic, fully committed and self-directed approach to workCapability to represent Regence in a positive professional manner in the marketplaceAbility to establish and maintain a top prospect list and sales pipelineAbility to quickly adapt and change prioritiesAptitude to participate in an industry organizationFluent Spanish language skills and knowledge of the Latino culture related to health care is desirable Hard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job # 16351.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
