Institutional Employee Sales is looking for a sales support specialist to support the daily activities of our Group PCS agents and to work with our first and second sale teams to drive participation in the Group Auto and Home voluntary benefits program. Work directly with existing Group PCS agents to help increase sales production, drive group participation and stay focused on the goals set forth by Group Auto and Home. Property and casualty sales experience is beneficial for this position. This position provides base salary plus sales incentive compensation. Major Duties and Functions Include: Assist agents in daily activities & train new agents for expansion of the Group Local Agent program. Provide feedback to improve agent’s performance. Create, develop & implement new sales strategies to enhance sales production & group participation for Group PCS agents. Partner with enrollment managers to enhance involvement of the PCS agents with benefit fairs & visibility day events throughout the year. Work with sales center management to help generate leads for PCS agents by working old quotes, monoline line leads, & x-dates. Collaborate with Marketing Departments to develop & provide communication & training to agents. Communicate group account information, sales & marketing information. What You Need to Succeed: Ability to train and teach sales skills is required Prefer ARS and Group Systems experience Ability to influence and build confidence in others Change agents- look for better ways of doing things Make decisions with the bottom line in mind Ability to build relationships Flexible to other's needs Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, and Lotus Ability to manage multiple projects Successful track record in sales People management experiences a plus Excellent interpersonal skills Negotiation abilities Analytical/problem solving skills Familiarity with the Property & Casualty industry P&C license required Bachelors preferred Travel required, approximately 30% including out of state and overnight Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
