Sales Trainee
Description:
The Sales Trainee will develop and maintain broker relationships in order to meet personal sales goals within assigned territory; provide satisfactory renewal and service of existing group accounts in territory; conduct sales and product seminars and continuing education seminars to support the development of territory; develop expert knowledge of group insurance products and services and maintain awareness of market trends and buying patterns.
AUL provides its Employee Benefits Division (EBD) sales representatives with a comprehensive training program. Your first several months as an EBD representative will combine a balance of classroom and on-the-job training designed to develop your knowledge in products, administration, service, relationship building, and selling techniques. As a trainee, you are a salaried employee. You’re paid to learn our business and become an employee benefits professional.
Requirements:
Requires a B.A. or B.S. degree (most areas of study will be considered), someone who is motivated, a self-starter with a winning attitude, personal organization skills, and strong oral and written communication skills. Also required are the ability to problem solve, negotiate, build relationships, prospect for new business, work independently and as part of a team. We are looking for individuals, who desire high-income rewards through hard work, are open to relocation, and who possess a satisfactory driving record.
