Senior Auditor - Projects

We are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor with experience of auditing (of) projects with emphasis on the risk assessment of project related activities that include: business processes, systems development and global reengineering.

You will provide business management with independent assurance that risks deriving from the execution of project-related activities are adequately recognized, assessed, reported, and controlled. Through performing in-depth risk analysis, taking responsibility for leading specific audit assignments and lead and participate in interviews with senior management and staff. Documenting all testing and findings, utilising our automated work papers system, defining and escalating recommendations to mitigate or eliminate the identified risks and drafting audit issues and reports will be part of your responsibilities.

You will have frequent interaction with business management and have the opportunity to develop ongoing relationships through strong evidence of your audit, technical, and business expertise. Your aim should be to add value to our business through identifying and recommending measures to mitigate existing and evolving risks and enhancing the Group's risk management and control culture.




Qualifications:

University degree, or CISA, CIA, CPA, PMP, CISSP, CAPM or MBA, with 2-3 years of work experience in the Projects field, IT or in the insurance or financial services industries
Conversant in Risk management, control and assurance techniques
Technically proficient in Project Management methodologies
Experience/ exposure to controls projects such as SOX (404)
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), negotiation, presentation and influencing skills
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project - Stature and confidence to interact with senior management with the ability to demonstrate objectivity, integrity, independence and drive
Ability to make recommendations in the face of complexity, conflicting pressures and ambiguous circumstances
Fluency in English
Ability to work independently under physically remote supervision
Cultural empathy
Willingness to travel internationally
