Senior Branch Manager

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of operation of a claims branch office including providing leadership to a management staff, if applicable.  It is responsible for operating with an appropriate level of autonomy based on experience level and may manage claims administration in multiple state jurisdictions.  Responsibilities & Objectives· Maintain Key Measures at ‘Meets Expectations’ or higher.· Ensure appropriate customer (internal and external) service.· Responsible for file handling quality in accordance with CG (Claims Guidelines) and Department of Insurance Regulations.· Responsible for claims results for a branch.· Responsible for litigation management.· Interview, hire, train, develop and monitor performance of staff.· Maintain appropriate and timely file diary.· Audit employees’ work.· Recognize and communicate issues to Management.· Handle physical plant issues.· Perform other duties as assigned.  PREREQUISITES Education Bachelors degree or higher education preferred Successful completion of AEI – Legal Principles claims law course and/or industry recognized coursework preferred Experience & Skills· Minimum 6 years claims experience· Previous management experience and/or 3 years as Branch or Unit Manager or equivalent· Proven leadership skills· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel  Bristol West's continued success is a reflection of our company's outlook combined with our employee's hard work and dedication.
