Senior Broker / Team Leader – Property Marketing

Primary duties include (but are not limited to):

 

Develop London placed insurance business originating from New York office. Strategize placement of major Global U.S. based accounts relying on London and European Markets. Serve as liaison Broker for all New York based placements. Place and service a number of large accounts throughout the policy year. Manage client relationships from a Property placement perspective for the assigned accounts. Monitor insurance legislation matters affecting insurance transactions with London and Europe. Monitor market environment and manage key market strategic partnerships and relationships. Oversee and manage preparation and presentation of new business proposals. Manage a team of Brokers. Manage assignments of accounts, annual appraisals and individual development plans for team of Brokers. Train and develop Property Team. Train and supervise new Associates on placement strategy of New York business requiring the use of London and European based carriers.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

 

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field plus 7 years experience in insurance brokerage industry, 5 years of which must be as a Property Marketing Broker. Experience must include servicing accounts in London, European and U.S. markets, United Kingdom financial services regulations, and London-placed insurance.

 

Hours – 40 hours per week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
