Senior Business Development Professional

Title: Senior Sales Executive

Description Summary:

Our client, one of the nation's largest employee benefits consulting organizations, has retained our services to assist them in locating a senior level business development professional for their private equity practice area.  Reporting to the Private Equity Practice Leader, the selected individual will be responsible for selling employee benefits Due Diligence projects to private equity firms as it relates to their merger & acquisitions activities.  This sales executive will also be responsible for overseeing a team of consultants who execute the Due Diligence project.  Upon completion of this project, the sales executive will work toward converting the target company into an ongoing client. 

Additional Responsibilities:Gain a comprehensive knowledge of my client's Private Equity Channel's services and sales approach. Develop an understanding of the Private Equity marketplace and to replicate the firm's historical success. Identify and penetrate new Private Equity firm prospects and succeed in converting them to clients.

Requirements:Must have at least 5 years of proven outside business to business consulting serviced-based sales experience to upper level executives. Must be comfortable with longer selling cycles. Outstanding networking, prospecting and presentation skills. Knowledge of employee benefits and selling to private equity firms are ideal, but not mandatory. Must have demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding assigned sales quotas. Bachelor's Degree.Must be able to commute to my client's Manhattan office.Must be comfortable traveling nationally 30% of the time.

Compensation:

My client provides a generous compensation package consisting of a guarantee of $100k plus commissions and residuals as well as travel/entertainment expenses.  They also offer a full benefits package.
