And we make it happen - together.Senior Business Systems Analyst Salem, OR or Portland, ORBring your business knowledge and system analysis skills to the following role:Participate in the daily and project driven activities of the Regence Group Affiliates (BCBS Oregon, BCBS Utah, BS Idaho, Regence Blue Shield) relating to the support of business areas which utilize automated and manual systems through definition of business requirements, standardization and improvement of business practices, review of technical design and responsible for customer acceptance testingProvide leadership and direction to project teams on projects with limited scopeTrain in functional systems design and analytical technique with emphasis in process modeling, project management, user relations and data gathering techniques Combine your degree and healthcare experience with the following skill sets:College degree is desired in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or related fieldsCollege experience may be substituted by equivalent work experienceMinimum of 1 year experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years experience in the health care industry or experience in defining and analyzing business requirements, process modeling, functional systems design, and/or acceptance testingExperience with the business area that is supported by this position (i.e. claims processing, membership processing, provider relations, etc.)Hard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16525.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
