With our strong capital base, financial stability, diversified earnings stream and multinational operating platform, we offer an excellent opportunity for your future growth and development.Details of this great opportunity follow:Senior Catastrophe AnalystThe main duties of this position include but are not limited to: Manage and coordinate data collection and analyses across ACE operating units for internal aggregation purposes and for reinsurance renewals. Perform modeling and analysis of ACE Group risk exposures across multiple line of business. Produce detailed catastrophe reports for senior management. Develop and utilize existing data mining tools to monitor data quality and modeled loss characteristics Work with regional catastrophe managers to ensure consistency of Group data standards and practices across operating units. Manage global cat management communication process through conference calls, web postings, and cat management meetings. The ideal candidate would possess the following skill set: Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong quantitative ability with skill in manipulating and interpreting large quantities of data. Ability to effectively summarize and communicate analysis results to the organization with accuracy and attention to detail. Interest in developing applications to mine and analyze data. Desire to work in a team environment. Capable of meeting tight deadlines and working long hours and weekends as necessary. Strong skills in database and spreadsheet programs (Access, SQL, Excel). Familiarity with catastrophe modeling, including the RMS or AIR vendor models. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
