Salary/Wage:USD 54,800.00 /year Status:Full Time, Employee Job Category:Accounting/Finance/Insurance Company:Sentry Insurance Contact:Karen Houdek Email:Apply by Email Reference Code:KH: WI Senior Claims Representative - Subrogation Responsibilities:• A Subrogation Claims Representative completes and directs comprehensive, prompt investigations with an emphasis on Workers’ Compensations files. • The claim representative analyzes liability and initiates collection activity against those parties responsible for the insured’s damages. • The claim representative will provide National Accounts and other insureds with regular status updates and settle subrogation claims within assigned  authority limits. • Many claims require litigation management. • This position involves daily contact with other insurance companies, attorneys, risk managers, and other professionals.Qualifications:• Candidate must be highly organized with effective and persuasive communication skills. • Significant claims experience in product and premises liability is desired. • The ability to negotiate fair settlements consistent with the prevailing subrogation law and the claim representative’s liability analysis is essential to achieving success in this position. • A college degree or comparable work experience is preferred.Compensation and Benefits:The starting salary can be up to $ 54,800 annually depending on experience and qualifications. Job title will be either Claims Representative or Senior Claims Representative dependent upon experience.
