Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993.In this vital role you will be asked to handle auto physical damage claims.  This field position requires adjusters to view damaged vehicles, prepare accurate damage estimates and settle claims within company guidelines.  This involves building rapport with customers and helping them through the claim process.  The individual will be responsible for; preparing auto damage estimates utilizing approved computer software systems, accessing coverage, liability and damages, negotiating the setttlement of claims, documenting claims file with notes, evaluations and decision making process and bringing claims to closure as timely as possible while achieving optimal customer satisfaction. * For Auburn and Brunswick, ME area.Our ideal candidate has 5+ years claim adjusting experience, I-CAR or ASE certification a plus,  excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as strong computer skills.  Candidates should possess the ability to manage relationships in a fast paced environment, while demonstrating persistence and problem solving skills.  Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
