Major Duties and Functions Include: Manages the following major skill areas: Problem Resolution, Implementation, Account Management, Project Management, and Mentoring Manages all aspects of the above skill areas for multiple National Accounts Customers (i.e. account administration and management, various customer related projects, administrative reports and contracts). Works in conjunction with the Account Executive, Client Services Administrative Manager and Client Services Director in meeting and exceeding the customers- expectations. Provides consultative plan design analysis and recommendations. Over-all accountability for day-to-day customer satisfaction and problem resolution. Leads and coordinates implementation of new customers and addition of MetLife product lines to existing customer. Coordinates customer benefit communications and provides consultative plan design analysis and recommendations. Leads customer driven projects due to service issues or new product services. Provides guidance and assistance as a mentor to less experienced team members. Leads cross functional project teams support by National Account initiatives or to enhance operational excellence. Demonstrated leadership skills What You Need to Succeed: 5-7 years of related Insurance and/or Financial Services work experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Demonstrated leadership skills People Management experience a plus (this position does not have direct reports) Working knowledge of all primary Client Services Administrative Consultant functions: administration, contracts, account management and project management, or proven expertise in the above areas. Firm knowledge of MetLife’s group products (Life, Disability & Dental), services and systems. Analytical thinking and decisiveness. Ability to work autonomously and multitask Ability to manage time effectively in order to meet customer deadlines Understanding of account management principles, consultative responsibilities and responsiveness. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines appropriately Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation. Excellent organization skills, interpersonal skills, diplomacy and flexibility. Ability to balance client needs with MetLife capabilities. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access and Project software packages. Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
