Our client is one of the largest, full service, independent insurance agencies in Montgomery County that is privately owned and operated.  Their current opening is an ideal position for a seasoned Commercial Lines Account Manager who wants to continue their career with a prestigious full service insurance agency located two blocks from the Red Line Metro.  This agency has a very low rate of turnover because they treat their employees as professionals worthy of respect.  This position is an addition to their staff.

 

Location: Montgomery County, MD

 

Summary:  Seasoned Commercial Lines Account Manager needed for prestigious Montgomery County insurance agency.

 

Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities:Work with several Owners on large and middle market Commercial accounts.Be involved in the renewal process, new business and marketing as well as client contact.

Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements:Active P & C MD licenseMinimum of six years experience in mid market and large Commercial accountsFamiliarity with Applied (TAM) software or AMS insurance softwareComprehensive knowledge of all Commercial Lines productsOutstanding written and verbal communications skillsPrefer candidate with degree and/or professional certifications such as CISR, CIC, CPCU, but experience will suffice as a substitute

Salary ($60-68K) based on education, experience, certifications, stable job history and excellent references. Generous company benefits.
