Be a member of Acadia's growing New York branch and have a direct impact on new market expansion throughout the state.  In the Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter role, you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute and the excitement of building relationships with your agents and accounts.  As an underwriter, you'll evaluate, select and price middle-market commercial accounts for designated agents throughout New York.  You'll also have the opportunity to play a critical role in helping to develop your colleagues by being a mentor.  If you're energetic, focused on fostering relationships and experienced in commercial lines underwriting, we'd love to meet you.  This position may be located anywhere in the Rochester, Albany, Syracuse or Buffalo regions of the state. 

 

Successful candidates will possess a college degree and a minimum of five years of commercial underwriting experience. Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills are required.
