Senior Compliance Program Consultant

Major Duties and Functions Include: Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures covering a variety of compliance issues for financial product sales and/or service areas, or for the entire enterprise. Determines standards and identifies best practices to ensure all business units operate within federal/state regulations and corporate guidelines. Develops and implements procedures to ensure business units administer products and services according to legal requirements. Evaluates current methods and strategies; identifies opportunities for changes and improvements. Provides technical expertise in identifying and reducing areas of potential risk. Evaluates new legislation and its impact on business units What You Need to Succeed: FINRA Series 7 and 24, other principal qualifications highly desired Advanced understanding of the regulatory environment surrounding business activities and operations Strong communications and negotiation skills in dealing with field, internal operations and compliance departments, and regulatory authorities. Strong project management and organization skills Strong understanding of broker/dealer operations and products Strong analytical thinker with advanced problem solving skills A relationship builder, who can establish trust and credibility across the enterprise Detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressure environment Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
