Due to an internal promotion, my client has an IMMEDIATE need for an experienced Benefits Analyst to join their team.

In this role you will be responsible for marketing of all lines of employee benefits coverages, while also submitting renewals to carriers and evaluating their responses to submissions. You will also manage relationships with clients, using your expertise to informing them about benefit design, legislative requirements and industry trends.

In addition, you will handle the following (partial list):Underwriting analysis on existing accountsAuditing of regulatory filingsPresentations to field underwriters and clients as neededEffective internal consultation on case strategy for others within your department

You should have proven experience working with fully-insured and/or self-funded accounts and have excellent oral and written communication skills, with abilities to speak to any level within an organization.

 Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred3-5 years experience working in Employee Benefits UnderwritingExperience working with fully-insured and/or self-funded accountsStrong working knowledge of Word and Excel
