HighlightsAIG Job ID: AIGBSMO -BF-SBAPosition Type: Full Time - RegularLocation: NJ-NeptuneRelocation: NoRequirementsEducation: BachelorsExperience: 3-5 yearsDescription: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The employee's primary responsibility will be to support the Legal Entity Reporting, Profit Center Accounting, Actuarial Finance, Treasury and other departments that rely on SAP to make financial and operational decisions by ensuring that the data in SAP is valid and complete.Related responsibilities include the following:•Process interfaces into SAP from multiple policy administrative systems and other systems •Reconcile the interfaced data in SAP, including specific interface related balance sheet accounts, to the source administrative systems after the interfaces are complete•Investigate and resolve differences identified in the SAP and administrative system reconciliation by interacting with the departments that manage the administrative systems•Research SAP for invalid interface postings and prepare correcting journal entries•Assist in identifying the root cause of invalid interface postings and propose solutions to prevent recurring interface issues •Develop and maintain interface metrics•Assist in business process documentation to explore process improvements and stronger controls related to financial systems and databases used for reporting purposesSKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:•Bachelors degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of related experience•Good analytical skills •Desire to learn business processes across functional areas in order to understand how SAP and other systems are used to provide value to our internal and external customers•Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
